If I use hair spray then a straightener to keep my mohawk straight up, will I catch my hair on fire?

   I used to use spritz which is really no different than hair spray and I would use a curling iron after and nothing ever happened. However it will get very hot so be careful not to leave it on to long because you can burn your hair.

   It will not catch on fire, but that is definitely not healthy for your hair… talk about split ends but whatever floats your boat ahah.

   No, your hair won't catch fire.

   I know from experience- not with a strightener (mine is straight already) but with a curling iron. My friends always like to amuse themselves with my long brown hair and their curling irons, and they've found that my hair can't hold a curl so they apply massive amounts of hairspray- before, during, and after.

   If you hold it in place to long it might burn your hair, but not catch it on fire. Although, if you held it in place much too long, it probably would… but it's a hot object, so that's to be expected…
